Air Comet suspended all flights December 23, 2009 By Terence Nilson Leave a Comment Image via Wikipedia MADRID – Spanish airline Air Comet laid off all of its staff and seized operation after an attempt to sell the struggling carrier failed. Air Comet’s parent company Grupo Marsans SA has constrained Air Comet from using any of its air planes and ordered the company not to sell tickets. All flights have been suspended. The company, specialized in low cost flights between Spain and Latin America, was in financial trouble for months already. Marsans said is has sold Air comet to the Dutch company Air Transport, but that Air Transport had failed to make any payments by the agreed deadline. No related posts.
