The TSA is one of the most dreaded parts of any trip to the USA. Created with the intention to protect the passengers, the department has fallen on hard times lately – budget cuts and limited staff are leaving travelers asking how to get through this whole mess.
But there might just be a way to do it. Marnie Hunter with CNN has found some sure fire tips to get us all through the dark days of ahead.
There are the obvious solutions to enroll in one of their PreCheck programs, which can also apply to foreign travelers. If you can manage to fly an unconventional time (we’re talking a red eye or just taking a day off in the middle of the week), then you can breeze through the gates with ease.
And then there are the simple things we can do with the internet – many airports have Twitter accounts, so be sure to check them out before you head to the airport. You might be able to catch an update on times.
