I’ve always had a soft spot for England. I took trips there when I was a child, and was raised on a steady diet of the BBC. The fields, the forests… the English country side caught a piece of my heart when I was young, and it’s had me forever since.
And now, when I find myself in the country, I make sure to find something new and amazing to see. I may have explored some cities and parts of the countryside, there’s always something magical and new to find.
Heading to the highest peak in the country (Scafell Pike) and gazing out upon the United Kingdom around you, or exploring the strange Royal Pavilion in southern Brighton. Or even just heading to the quiet and calming town of Wiltshire near Stonehenge could prove to be the secret treasure of a trip to England.
The nation is quietly beautiful, the trees and hills green and the country side serene and peaceful. It’s never considered a beautiful country, or a particularly grand landmark. But if you’re looking to lay your head down and relax?
It’s perfect.
