Well, everyone, this one isn’t great to hear about. We all want better flights, and when we get them? Even though the number of flights landing on time has been on a steady increase, and the number of luggage that’s missing is on the decrease, there are still a LOT of customer complaints. Like, more than usual.
Traveler complaints to the company has gone up a solid thirty four percent since the previous year, which is the highest number of complaints in sixteen years. And, like ever, the biggest sore spot for frustrated travelers is the number of cancellations and delays that happen every day.
Dead Headley, marketing professor at Wichita State University, says, “Everything is getting better, but they are still unhappy about the same things…” The professor goes further into detail, feeling that the increase of fines and fees on flights leave travelers extra angry if they get rescheduled or cancelled.
