Google has become one of the most ubiquitous companies in the world – they help provide our e-mail, entertainment, games, business, everything. And now, they’re trying to enter into the world of travel.
Google has announced the beta of their new travel assistant app, and that members of the Local Guides program will even get to try it out in the near future. And the app seems to be created with a connection to Gmaps built in.
A Google spokesperson briefly talked with Dennis Schaal of Skift, and said, “We love to travel and are hard at work dreaming up new ways to make the travel experience hassle-free…While we do that, sit tight and keep on using our amazing tools like Google Flights, Hotel Search and Destinations on Google to plan your next adventure.”
This new app could follow suit with the various other Google discoveries, and make the world of travel that much easier. Learn more about the program, right here.
