Stranded at Gatwick Airport last night because of a first delayed than more delayed and than finally canceled flight to Barcelona Friday evening.
I received the following compensation offer:
Choice one:
If I accept to fly Sunday evening Easyjet would pay the transfer to the hotel and the two nights hotel accommodation.
Choice two:
If you do not accept this, no need to stay in line here, Sir. You are than only entitled to get your money back.
..but that’s not according to the Law according of the European Union! I can’t comment that, Sir, I only can say those are the two options we offer. If you do not accept offer 1 you are breaking the contract and we do not need to give you compensation except your money back.
