EASA Personal Electronics

Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) will
be getting more “air” time.

Following TSA’s release on extended
use of Personal Electronic devices (PEDs) on

flights, the EASA, European
Aviation Safety Agency is set to publish similar guidelines by the
end of November 2013. Device included are tablets, smartphones,
e-readers and mp3 playes of which should be in “Flight Mode” or
“Airplane Mode”.

The changes will be applicable to
aircraft operated by European airlines.
