Venice is, without a doubt, my favorite place on the planet. It is, simply put, beautiful, in a way that other places can only aspire to. It’s extravagant in places, but quiet in others. It is the only place on Earth I’ve ever seen, where every path leads to even a cuter place, every time. Riding the river, exploring the churches, anything you do here… just has an added level of beauty. Everything is richer, delicious and gorgeous.
Just take the food. There’s the atmosphere at the Paradiso Perduto that keeps everyone at the bar, relaxed and friendly. The classic 50’s style of the Alla Madonna, or the intimate feel of the small but incredible Al Covino. There’s the home grown and cooked quality of the locally famous Boccadoro, beyond some of the best wine available in Italy.
Michella Scibilla with Huffington Post and la Repubblica have got a further break down on these amazing restaurants, so if you’re ever going to maybe the best city on Earth, check them out.
