This museum in downtown New York is one of the truly great relics of a time long gone by. And when you come here, it can surprise you with the sheer amount of history on display. Tom Falco with Huffinton Post discovered the spot, and made sure to share everything inside.

The purpose of the museum is to “interpret and preserve the history, sociology and technology of land-based public transportation systems in New York City. There are small replicas of stations from the past and rebuilt trolley models and the best part of all is down below.
