We all would like to take the days in the holiday season off from work-related travel to spend time with family and buy presents, but unfortunately that’s not possible for everyone. The Economist has a guide for those of us who may be stuck buying presents for family while on the road, or even at the airport! One choice tip: the duty-free is incredibly convenient, but a bottle of duty-free perfume or liquor reeks of last-minute desperation, so try to plan ahead of time to avoid getting stuck in the airport without presents.
