This is generally referred to as the most prestigious opera house in the world. It will accommodate 2,800 people in one sitting; although you may struggle to get a ticket as they are in extremely high demand.
This church was first created in 386, although it has been rebuilt several times; the current incarnation was completed in the 12th century.
You’ll find some of the best Romanesque examples of tone work here, as well as a host of other interesting features.
Santa Maria Presso San Satiro
Small from the outside, this church is uninspiring. But, once you step inside you’ll be amazed by the majestic nature of the building and how deep the sanctuary is. In fact, this is an extremely clever optical illusion that has to be seen to be believed.
If you like art and textiles then this is a must during your visit. You can also see an impressive array of jewelry, bronze works, and porcelains from various periods in history.
Leonardo da Vinci National Museum Of Science & Technology
Discover how scientists have worked from early time until the modern day in this fun, yet informative, Italian science museum. It’s in a former Olivetan monastery which just heightens the feeling of stepping back into time.
