If you’ve ever been to Hong Kong, then you know how overwhelming it can be. It’s one of the biggest cities in the world, and if you’re not careful, it could easily prove too much for anyone unprepared. But instead of trying to survive the roads of this city can be maneuvered without driving yourself to the verge of madness.
Instead, you could take part in something historic and use the city’s one hundred and eleven year old tram line. Dinging bells as it drives down the roads of the city, the Hong Kong tram system is an impressive and surprisingly relaxing way to calm down in the middle of the city.
Antoine Sambin, commercial and corporate affairs manager for the tram system, says “You don’t need to travel fast — you just have to enjoy the city and discover the space… we’re lucky because the tram is on the northern part of the island… it’s the busiest part of Hong Kong.”
