Even most experienced traveler can sometimes hate it. Just the act of being on a plane can sometimes feel like absolute hell. But sometimes, there just isn’t a better way to cross the globe. But come on, even though yes, it’s amazing to fly and everything, but it’s understandable if I don’t want to spend over twenty hours on a plane, ever. And a new development by Virgin Galactic might just solve that problem with a supersonic solution.
An American based company, Boom Technology, has been developing prototypes for a new kind of supersonic jet. And it must be impressive, because Virgin Galactic recently announced a partnership with the small company. Not only will they help develop the prototype, they will also straight up build the plane. If the plane is able to keep up with projections, then they’ll be able to break the speed of sound and manage trips such as NYC to London in 3.4 hours, LA to Sydney in 6 hours, and San Francisco to Tokyo in 4.7 hours.
